KnowledgeFilter, Inc. - Executive Overview

The Next Step in the Evolution of the Web:
User-Generated Content & Self-Organizing Systems

The recent dot.com shake-out has shown that spending vast amounts of capital to generate website content can be a formula for disaster.  The public, meanwhile, has come to expect large quantities of free and reliable content from their favorite websites. KnowledgeFilter's patent-pending KnowledgeCenter software provides a powerful set of tools for automatically converting website traffic into high-quality content at minimal cost. The software uses visitor input to generate, organize and edit content from a variety of sources. KnowledgeCenter forums provide targeted marketing opportunities while building loyal online communities with minimal staff overhead.  The KnowledgeCenter product can be utilized by virtually any website to convert the knowledge and interest of its visitors to the stock in trade of a successful web enterprise.

KnowledgeCenter Software Redefines Web-based Knowledge-Sharing

KnowledgeCenter software eliminates the tedium and redundancy of currently available message board and threaded discussion systems.  The software automatically concentrates knowledge by ranking, sorting and filtering the collective input of website participants into central, self-organizing knowledge bases. The system allows thousands of users to easily combine their collective knowledge and expereince and to compare notes and opinions.

  • Visitor contributions are subject to feedback, ratings, and pro & con commentary from other users.
  • Users sort information according to personal measures of value or reliability, to meet their specific needs and interests.
  • Sorting criteria may include interest, value, accuracy, comment support level and a variety of other rating criteria.
  • Ratings-based sorting allows the most valuable postings to rise to the top whenever a list of topic postings is displayed.
  • Individuals can view and weigh pro-and-con comments on controversial issues.
  • Professional or expert contributions and opinions can be separately tracked
  • A visual "knowledge map" is generated automatically and continuously, for easy knowledge-base navigation.
  • A powerful search function targets specific subject matter, either within the content itself or within the subject line postings.
  • The "Knowledge Navigation Console" interface can be customized to meet website "look and feel" requirements. Community is encouraged by allowing participants to communicate via instant e-mail messaging.
