The heart of
the Knowledge Center software is the "Knowledge Navigation
Console". The console window allows users to access postings
and a visual display of the ratings that other people have given
the posting. Ratings and comments are submitted by clicking on
the feedback and submission area just below the posting. Further
below the main window, a scrollable lists of comments provides
for unlimited feedback on each posting. The comments are divided
into three categories: supporting comments, opposing comments
and misc.comments. In version 2.0 of the software, each list
of comments is automatically sorted by its own agreement level
rating, allowing the strongest arguments on both sides of any
issue to appear right below the posting itself. This has the
added benefit of minimizing redundant comments. Instant email
links below each comment facilitates communication and the creation
of loyal online communities. |
