The index window provides a sorted list of all the posting within a given category or sub-category. The list can be sorted by any combination of criteria, allowing the postings that are most valuable to the user rise to the top of the sorted list. At the left of the index window, a list of other categories and a powerful search function allows users to easily navigate the knowledge base to find the appropriate category or posting. When a category is first viewed, it is automatically sorted by date, allowing new postings a chance to receive ratings and comments.
